Wang Zhaojun's experience has become a much-told story about people unity in China's history. Chinese and foreign artists always appreciate it.

The dance drama Wang Zhaojun is developed over the legacy of Wang Zhaojun departing the frontiers, enveloping four acts themed "Drizzle in March of Peach Blossom", "Willows Weeping near Palace Walls", "Wild Gooses in Chilling Seasons" and "Lonely Moon in Sky Dome". The show artistically reveals all the touching stories about Wang Zhaojun, starting from her becoming a Jinchu maiden who was enlisted to Han palace, then married with a king of nomadic tribe for peace, and eventually paying great contributions to the peoples' harmoniousness.
